Goodal Black Carrot Vita-A Retinol Firming Ampoule

This is a wonderful, gentle, retinol product. I have been using it at night only, because I spend a lot of time outdoors and know retinols can cause photosensitivity. This absorbs quickly, doesn't roll or pill when using other products,and has a very light scent. It has given my skin a good boost of moisture and my texture has improved.

I like this! It seems to work well with my skin. Since it is a low% retinol, I use it daily at night and haven't had any issues with adverse reactions or dryness. My skin's been loving the consistent care routine~! During the day, I'll switch this step out with a vitamin c~!I don't know how much it does for my skin individually, but as a whole, my routine's been working for me. - SKII serum, this/vitamin c, eye cream, moisturizer, (sleep mask at night).

This ampoule has a milky texture, is fragrance free, and glides onto my skin very smoothly. I usually dispense a small amount onto my fingertips, pat it gently all over my face, and then softly spread it out. What I love most is that it doesn't cause any irritation or breakouts.When I first started using it, I wasn’t very impressed. Even though my skin didn’t react badly, it did feel drier than usual. That’s not unusual for me when using retinol, so I figured it might need to get a little worse before it starts to improve. After the first week, I stopped using it temporarily because I had to travel and didn’t want my skin looking dry while I was away.Once I got back, I picked it up again, and things really started to turn around. After a few days of consistent use, I used a gentle scrub and noticed my complexion looked brighter and had a glowy finish.Overall, I’m really enjoying it. The fact that it’s fragrance free and non-irritating makes it feel safe and dependable. It might take a little patience, but it’s worth it.

I like how thick this serum is….just three drops is all I need to cover my face and neck. It feels a little gel-like to me. My skin felt tight afterward, which I wasn’t expecting. It absorbed pretty quickly, and I didn’t have any problem layering products/makeup on top of it. There is an odor, sort of a clinical, medicinal scent, but it went away once the serum dried. Overall, I like it, but I wasn’t expecting to feel a tightness to my skin after applying.
