Goodal Black Carrot Vita-A Retinol Firming Eye Cream

I love this brand! I've bought Goodal in Korea when traveling, and it was even other things from this exact line. So happy to find it on Amazon!So far, I've been using this eye cream daily for 10 days. I'm not positive I see a difference in wrinkles - but - I do have a little spot at the bottom of my undereye circle. It's a slightly raised spot. It is no longer raised, and this product is the only explanation I can think of (that the retinol helped it go away). I'm hoping this will help with fine lines as I use it longer (I don't think they've changed yet), and I might try it above my lip.I really like the container with the tiny dispenser tip. I'm used to getting too much product out of eye cream containers, and with this style, I can get the tiniest amount out, which is perfect. The consistency of this is really nice - it pats on easily, without being too oily.Regarding sensitivity - my mom is really sensitive to eye creams. They make her eyes water. I let her try this for a few days, and she had no sensitivity problems! This did not make her eyes water. Am I a bad daughter since I took it back? :D

It's hard to say if this is effective since it takes weeks or even months of daily use to see any noticable improvements. However retinol is proven to be one of the best ways to reduce wrinkles over continued use. Although retinol can cause sensitivities and skin issues, so not everyone can tolerate it even when their skin is introduced slowly to it.This is a smooth cream, it absorbs nicely and I have no issues using makeup after applying. My makeup doesn't look odd and clumpy like some eye creams.There is no awful scent and the ingredients seem mostly beneficial without any red flags.I am in my 2nd week of using this eye cream and haven't noticed anything miraculously different yet, but like I said, it takes time and consistency. I do like this cream though and even though the tube is smaller, not much is needed. Plus I haven't experienced any typical retinol skin reactions.Made in South Korea and well sealed.

This feels exactly the way you want an eye cream to feel as it is being applied and after it’s finished. It is light and creamy, but still has some substance to it so you know it’s protecting the skin. It has a tiny bit of oil feel but it rubs smooth and clean and is not oily at all. It feels cool and calming once applied. It dries down completely but it still feels present - I don’t know how else to describe it other than that. Some creams and serums dry down and don’t even feel like anything is there. Others are oily. That is not what you want for an eye cream! You want an eye cream to feel substantial enough that it doesn’t just go away and leave you with nothing, but you also don’t want tackiness or residue. This feels exactly the way it should - something is there but it doesn’t seem apparent!There is no scent and the tip of the dispenser is great because it is narrow so it won’t dispense too much. I put this on my neck and decolette also. It feels so good and the ingredient list has major potential for great results. Time will tell.The ingredients are good with sea water and glycerin being two of the first three, which is nice, then niacinamide and betaine. After a few emollients and stabilizers, then comes carrot root extract, a medicinal tree bark extract, and centella asiatica. All three of these are wonderful to see high in an ingredient list due to their positive properties for skincare.

I've never heard of anything like this before but very excited and happy that I did try it because it definitely makes the skin under my eyes feel tighter I do not suggest getting this too close to your eye because I did have a little bit of a burning sensation. However, other than that I really really like using this.
